I ordered a set of Wild1 563 10" this afternoon. Of course, I had to order all the other sh#t to deal with the SG speedometer as well. Hope to have the bars on in the next couple of weeks.

did you have any issues with your turn signals hitting the tank with these bars?

As luck would have it.... I put a bid on a set of Wild1's, 8" with pull back, then thinking it would never go that cheap, bought another set I found way under retail...Well, I now own both sets, a straight set and a pull back set. Gotta love ebay. The pullback set is going up for sale.

Installed the new 8" T-bars this weekend. First bike without apes since 2003 when I sold my lowrider, but the change feels good.
Still need to replace the cables, and hide some wiring around the neck.

Damn Rich, I really dug the other bars you had made/installed.
What made you change to something similar I have?

How is the height at 8" ? Do you think 10" or 12" would have been better ?
Also... are they the Wild1's or West coast ?

As much as I liked them, they just didn't quite give me the look I was hoping for, so I figured I would take another route. Never liked bent apes and Z-bar style just didn't fit.
As SC told me, I have committment issues ...lol

Mine are Wild1's and I would not want any higher, would look too tall. Since I would never put one of those fairings on her 8 was plenty high. Put a few miles on yesterday and I feel I made the absolute right choice for me.
Sort of gives me a more aggressive feeling.

I will have a set of 8" pullbacks with accutronix gauge mount for sale next week.
