Thanks, I wasn't sure if it would cover them or not. I think I need to get a different headlight housing to make that fairing work because I have the bullet housing that is deeper than say one off a lowrider. What say you? Killer bike by the way.
yeah gotta change out your headlight housing. Here's a fairing with 6" rise t-bar drags.
i think it might be the rake on the wide glide that makes me not like the ness fairing on it. ..
it does look better in the second set of pics you posted though.
it would look tons better with back end slammed.
either way im sure it will turn out great.
The shield is already painted. Guess ya just can't tell from the photos. The best thing to do is spray them from the back. Gives it a great smooth look from the front.
This particular pic doesn't do the bike justice. It looks VERY good in Person. It'll all come together better once everything is done.
This fairing was on my bike. I switched to the HD quarter fairing.
I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's the style I choose to build in. No new ground, nothing earth shattering.....just what we like.
I actually really like your ride, this one just looks kinda out of place. I'm sure it will look better when finished.
As mentioned, it may be the rake that is making it look weird to me. I can't put my finger on it.
Started working on a friend's new Wide Glide. Just put on the Ness Wide Glide fairing and mid pegs today. We kept the stock forward controls on, just added mid pegs for change ups.
There's more coming soon with this bike.
Taller risers

I think it's gonna turn out real nice. First of the new wide glides I've seen done like this. He's extremely happy with it and so am I.
I know this thread has been dead for a while but I'm curious. I think it looks great with the fairing. It give it a drag bike look. I agree that atleast the back needed to be lowered.
How did the bike turn out? Is it doneor as done as it can be unitl the next idea pops up? What else was done?
