Default Super Glide with Apes

I am looking at putting 10 to 12 inch mini apes on. For anyone that has done it, what cables and wiring needed to be replaced? Any info would be great.

I think if you use the bars on the Street Bob then you change the throttle for sure and maybe the brake. The dealer says all but then Im doing the work myself. I did a fit check on the Street Bob and it is good.

This will help..

But you should change brake, clutch, throttle and Idle cables.
Some will reach but you get what you pay for..

I switched to mini apes and had to replace both throttle/idle and brake, the clutch was tight so I replaced it as well.

Cheers,

Tom

when I put 10's on my superglide,I used cable lengths from a wideglide.I think it's only the 10 WG that doesn't come with 10 inch.

I was checking them out on the Street Bob. I think they are 10. I plan on doing my own work so I will get what I pay for.

I am planning on doing the SB handlebars on my 07 SG. Am I safe to assume that the stock cables from a SB will do the trick? Thanks
