In 1978 I was going thru the Wisconsin Dells. Saw someone on the top of a bluff outlined by the rising sun. Person was pointing something at my car.
Came around the corner to find an officer starting to climb into his car and pursue me. I pull off to a sliding stop, sling open the door, and in a John Belushi style dodging run make my way back to the confused officer while screaming "someone is trying to shoot me back there!"...
