Inner Primary ?
Are the inner primarys for the '07 and later Wide Glide and Softails the same? I have a outer primary cover without the shifter hole from a Fat Bob, and want to find an inner to match. Just searching ebay and don't want to buy the wrong part.

Try HD's web site and shop for accessories, that will give you part numbers and what they fit.

If you're changing the inner primary just to get one without the hole for the mid shift you don't need to,just plug it with a freeze plug. That's assuming the outer primary you have matches up to the present inner primary.

man I wish i knew for you... on mine i permatex the shifter hole, and powedered the whole thing... came out great! my inner and outter are gloss black and it looks insane! i have tons of pics of mine off the bike if you need them to compare the other ones
