Default Slipons how soon?

Got a 2010 Super Glide, just got some Rush 1.75 slipons.

was thinking of waiting until first service to fit them but the stock moped noise is driving me crazy, is it ok to fit slipons sooner without damaging or stressing anything ?

No problem with puting them on when you want they won't hurt a thing.

Default Rush Racing Slip On's

You're gonna like the way it sounds! Just bought a Dyna and it's such a drag to leave my Rush pipes behind on my Sporty when I pull out of the garage!

Rode mine for about 2 weeks with the stock muffs, put on the slip-ons and it was like a whole new ride! Put 'em on and don't look back.

MADOGA; I put new pipes on my 09 FLHX before the odometer reached 100 miles (1st upgrade). Just make sure you seal them onto the headers w/high temp silicone & I also put new exhaust clamps on to ensure they were tight. Other than that...enjoy the new sound.

Have never heard of silicon on pipes - what's the reasoning? I get the new clamps (although with 100 miles I'm not sure I wouldn't have re-used the old ones).

The high temp silicon helps prevent any leaks at the muffler joint. I have used it on several bikes. A lot of performance exhaust manufacturers recommend it in the installation instructions.
