Default Powdercoating Frame

I was thinking about having the frame on my Wide Glide powdercoated to match the tank/fenders. Has anyone had this done on their bike? If so, any lessons learned?

Default RE: Powdercoating Frame

well first off welcome to the forum.and i have powdercoated a few things in my time.but never a frame.but a coulpe things u might want to do is.plug all screw holes and your gooseneck hole for your front end.and you shouldnt have no problem coating it then.you might have to strip off the old powdercoat first not sure.never tried powdercoating over powdercoat.but i think a colored matched frame looks awesome on a bike.plz post pic after your done.
