I'd be interested to know how to do this. I have no intention of doing it but every person I've talked to about installing the Shotgun Shock has asked about laying frame.
that would be a lil work to do. i have seen some old pics on here of a luxe were the swing arm was cut up and the front slammed. it was about 2 inches from layin looked sick.
"layin frame" = a rat rod term for dropping the vehicle on air bags or other means until the frame actually lays on the ground. Eliminates the need for a kickstand on bikes.
On an HD, I would think it would be tough to do. Def need some rear frame mods, and probably have to switch to a modified springer, beam, modified leaf type, or specially designed inverted forks to accomplish that much front drop. Check out some of Matt Hotch's builds, I think he was one of the first to lay em down.
