I'm 5'5" and have the same issue. I just bought a Kuryakn extened brake pedal on ebay since I don't want to go back to mids. I'll post pics when I get it.

I just put the stage 1 on and thats when the problem started for me. The new airfilter sticks out alot farther then the stock did.

I had the same problem with my FXDWG, I recently added the SE Heavy Breather. That problem is no more.

I like my cleaner cover....keeps my leg away from the exhaust....i wonder if the heavy breather would be as comfortable to rest against?

Did you keep the stock cover though? The HD smooth round air cleaner cover gave me more leg room.
