My new seat
Well I have a 2009 FXDC and changed to the SE CVO 07 seat. Seat is firm - very firm. It is also lower and sits you back a bit. I am 5'11" and 165 lbs and sit flat footed on the bike with the stock seat. I found myself pushing back and possible up on the seat slope when riding. I am amazed at the riding transition with the seat. Sitting about 1 inch lower gives more confidence in the corners and possibly less buffeting at speed. The firmer seat also gives a more sporting feel. I am pleased with the change and wish others with different seats that could post pics and feedback on their seat. I actually ordered a LePera Sonora Sport but the wait time changed my mind and I cancelled the next day. I actually wanted a Sonora (not Sport model with seat seam) without conchos and studs which they were willing to do. But without seeing it I could not pull the trigger plus I had the 3-4 week wait time.

I have the same seat. I like it too. I use a LePara silhouette solo for local cruising but I switch to the CVO seat for any distance riding. Going on a 150 mile run tomorrow and I will be using the CVO seat. It's in my sig pic.

Umm I was all eager to show you the new Hollywood Solo from Corbin I just put on my 09 Street Bob last night. But apparently I need to post 4 more times .... So maybe I'll troll and post... then come back with the picture
