This sure looks like a slick way to put dual disks on your Dyna. I can imagine that this provides an unimaginable improvement in braking.

Wondered if you are satisfied with suspension aspect, or if further modifications are necessary.

Good work.

Good work.
The V-Rod damper rods have a little more rebound and compression damping than the Dyna. I swapped over my Ricor Intiminators inertial cartridge emulators and also the springs I had shortened from the Dyna forks to the V-Rod forks. The V-Rod front is more controlled than the Dyna was with the same mods. In the rear I have Ohlins. I have re-valved dirt bike suspensions for many years so I had to play with the Dyna front end spring rate and oil level for a while before I was satisfied. Everything I did with the Dyna front forks worked better with the V-Rod forks. I machined some extension sleeves to lengthen the travel of the V-Rod forks from 3 inches to 4 inches to match the stock Dyna travel. I am running my oil level at 4 inches from the top measured without springs or emulators and the forks completely compressed.
