Definitely the SE style. Thanks for figuring that out for me. Mine are exactly the bottom pic of the first two and the right picture of the bottom set. I pretty much must have guessed right when putting them in because my installation pretty much mirrored your advise. Which is good for a change. Thanks again guys. That was extremely helpful.
This comes as a surprise to me . I have read everything there was to read here about exhaust mods , and I have always read that "the screamin' eagle exhaust gaskets are the same thing as the stock , but more expensive . So , buy the stockers , and save your money " . Now , just the opposite . I'm so confused ..............LOL !

don't be confused the gaskets are completely different...and advice otherwise is bad advice.
Sure learn alot on the forum...When I installed my Samson shorties I left the oem gaskets completely out as they looked like they wouldn't let the pipe flange seat within the exhaust port. I didn't know about SE gaskets which look correct for the installation. Wife is picking up the gaskets as we speak and I'll be happy to get them installed as both pipes are leaking at the port. After the're installed I'll report back! Thanks for the info on the subjuct.

Did you remove the stock gaskets from the exhaust port ... when you removed your stock pipes ...? You may have the original stock gaskets still in your bike ....
The stock gaskets get crushed in the port and are pretty hard to remove because they are hard to detect visually (or to feel with your fingertip for that matter ...) ...
Actually I was able to remove both oem gaskets with a bent pick. Then at least the pipes would install deep into the port but still leaked a bit. Will install the SE gaskets today to see if leaking quits, probably also use a little copper sealent as well.

This almost sounds like you didn't reinstall any gaskets. Thats why it's leaking, if that is what you did.
Right, thats what I did,,,no gaskets cause at the time I didn't have anything but the stock oem gaskets. I knew it would leak a lilttle without the gaskets but I could live with it till I got a set of different ones. I'm putting the SE ones in today.
