Slightly longer answer: The flappy things gum up and stop working after a few 1000 miles. The 'chrome' peels off. The breather bolt setup leaks oil down the side of your bike. It looks cheap and nasty from new and even worse after a year. Independant dyno testing shows its a barely adequate stage-1 A/C, you can get better for <$100.

I have never had one because I think they look silly. I did have a Kury Twin Velocity AC for a while, but I ditched it after about a year, it really looked a lot cheaper in person than in photos. Kind of like Chromed plastic.
I have the black version installed. Looks are personal opinions and it fit what I was after. The finish on it is holding up very well, been on for over 3 years and 30k miles. Contrary to what people say they flow enough for 100hp which is more then adequate for a stage 1. I do not have the butterflys hooked up to vacuum, never have they just stay open the way I like it.
