installed kit #77197-07 .
Mounted module just above regulator.
Wiring is a bit tiresome.
Took a while to figure out that it wouldnt work with an led tailight, so installed small incand lite and it worked just fine.
Apparently bike "brain" sends a signal when a light is not working. The led return voltage is too low for the brain to recognize, so hence the signal sent which will not allow the cruise module gear to engage. Put a small incandescent lite , spliced to brake lead, in behind led and voila! It worked.
It will work with stock tailights just fine. Hope this helps.
Sorry if i've missed something but whats wrong with the little screw that holds the throttle in place?
It's not as advanced as what you've installed but it's cheaper.
Cruise-control normally means that your speed/rpm is maintained, no matter the grade, assuring, for example, that we don't go over the speed limit. The throttle lock maintains only a constant throttle position; this works just fine on flat level ground, but cannot maintain constant speed otherwise.
