I see quite a few people around here saying they wished they hadn't put all the "Willie G" stuff on their bikes after they had it on there for a while. What are the reasons for that?
I'm also looking to take the stock grips off and put something better looking on. Any good suggestions (I don't want "too much" chrome on them, looking to stay away from them getting slippery)???
He's talkin about the Willie G skull theme pieces like derby and timer cover. You can find it on the harley website under accessories. Yes I've got a little that I am kind of thinking over now. Kinda like to go another direction.
I'd buy them stock grips off ya, I love mine but my hand prints are worn into them pretty good but in a few years I'll need to put on some "new" ones
I'll probably hold on to the stock ones for a little while just to make sure I like the new ones I end up getting. But if I do get rid of them I'll hit ya up!
I have the skull collection. I have the bonekeeper tank,W.G. grips, pegs, light visor, timing cover, battery band and do not regret it. To each their own.
I just removed grips, front and rear pegs, shifter peg, derby and timing covers they were on bike when I purchased it if anyone is interested I would sell any or all for a very reasonable price.
Just went A different direction and am not a fan of chrome
