These are the badges I'm running. I like the a lot. I had the Night Train badges before these and like them to.
Those are the same ones I'm running on my 06 street bob. I like how they contrast with the denim paint. My only gripe is I waited a little too long to make up my mind on which ones to switch to. From the right angle, you can still see the outline of the original badges.
Worlds ugliest tank badge? I don't think so. I think it's one of the better looking ones. It's simple and it's chrome what more do you want? Some of the ugly ones look like plastic. I won't say which bikes they're on. You know it when you see it. Although my favorite would have to be the bar and shield.

07 Wide Glide - took a tip from Nevar and made the swap to the simple bar and shield. Looks best on black - probably nice on silver too.
Used a heat gun to soften factory badges then used fishing line to 'saw' thru tape backing and then lifted them straight off as to not score the clearcoat. I was able to roll the remaining adhesive off with my thumb and the residue cleaned up with some goo-gone. Then some soap and water - then isopropyl alcohol to prepare the surface.
After peeling the backing off the new badge I hit the adhesive side with the heat gun for a few seconds to get it just the slightest bit tacky and it stuck like a mother.
Well, at least it's chrome like previously stated. My 09 Road Glide is like a sticker..... how cheap is that? I'd much prefer the "plastic" chrome street glide badge. The 2011 CVO tank badge is pretty nice, for plastic.
