I received them in the mail today. I'll post some pics when I get them installed. Thanks again for the info. Jim has a wicked fast turnaround time!

Thanks again Stanz. I put them on and I love the difference they made. I'm more relaxed and not as stretched out now. Best 47 bucks I ever spent!

Default sissy bar

I went with the H-D One-Piece Detachable Sissy Bar Upright 52729-08.
Got it new off of e-bay for $140 shipped instead of the harley $200. Had to pay full price for the docking hardware and passenger seat. 10min to install.

No worries! By the way I have also done the 2" tank lift! Its another on of those subtle touches that make it "MY" Fat Bob!!

Local hardware/bolt store. I just removed one of them and took it down and got one 2" longer. I also got grade 8's, factory are grade 5's. Now I just have to get them chromed or find bolt covers!!

Were you guys able to use the factory wiring / cables with those 2" risers? Was it a fairly simple bolt on? I've been thinking about doing the same thing...

Well the handlebar side of it seems to be covered, the bag sissy bar I got was an attitude stick from cycle visions http://www.cyclevisions.com/chrome/a...ck-sissy-bars/

Not on a fat bob but you get the idea have used it for luggage with no problems.
