IMO the download was to richen it up so it wasn't to lean, so...if you put the stock stiff back on, I assume there will be a more richer condition. Rich enough to foul plugs?? I dont know, but probably enough to effect gas mileage. I do not think that it will damage the engine though, or maybe some carbon buildup too.
I remember reading about a year ago or longer that the newer bikes will do a few things when the motor gets hot enough.
1: will add fuel to lower temp a little
2: alternate the spark, one cylinder will fire then the other won't, that's supposed to lower the engine temp
3: last but not least, shut the motor down all together.
I believe I read that in Easy Rider or some other mag.
I am not sure that is on the 07's they may have only done it on the 06's
It states it in the owners manual for the 06 but it is not in the 07 manual.
Anyone know for certain ?

Thinking about trading in for a 07 The thing is, it's not for another Street Bob, not even another Dyna, but my first true love, Softail Deluxe. Don't get me wrong, I love my Street Bob and wish I can keep both, but my wife is giving me this one opportunity. Just really toying with the idea right now.
