Question ECM re-mapping

I have an 05 FXDCI, V&H shortshots, SE High-flow AC, SERT. The MOCO mechanic told me yesterday I do NOT any remapping or calibration if I just want to put a Heavy Breather on it. (the bike was tuned for the pipes and the SE highflow AC when I bought it)

I'm confused and concerned about running too lean and too hot with the increased airflow. On the other hand I don't want to lay out $$ if I don't have to. Is the difference between the High-Flow filter and the SE Heavy Breather very noticable?

Please tell me what you guys did/think.....

Thanks

IMO, you already have a better breathing intake on it so I don't think you need to change the map or anything right away. It may run leaner, but ride it for awhile and see if you can tell any difference.

Thanks Nevil. I've read post after post on this issue and I'm getting more and more confused. You more or less echo what the 'stealership" told me...
