Default Pledge it clean?

Ok, so I'm sure there are probably several post on here somehwere and some of you are going to just say "why don't you look around before you post a question", but then what fun would if be to never have any post to add to. So I have heard about people using pledge to clean their bike. Is this really good cleaner and is there any better one cleaner over the other?

I clean my bike then spray Pledge from stem to stern then wipe dry. I could not imagine my life without Pledge.

I use the Pledge Multi Surface cleaner on chrome and polished aluminum. also works good on the head light. melts bugs and road grime right off. just spray on microfiber cloth and wipe. Done!

I can vouch for the Pledge Multi Purpose Cleaner! I keep a little bottle in my bag when on overnighters. That and a microfiber cloth works wonders on the visor on my full face helmet! It really does melt away the bug goo!!!

For me it all started with a FF helmet to clean the face shield many years ago. then my buddy showed up with his ride sparking one day. He told me he pledged the whole thing. I have been using it ever since.

What about denim paint? Is Pledge safe to use on the tank, fenders etc?

Pardon my ignorance but are you all talking about the same pledge used for dusting wood furniture?

I would think it would make a sheen on the denim.
