Turned 40, looking to purchase my first Bike... I am 5'7, Was considering an 07 low rider. but dealer also has a Brand new 05 Deuce on the floor he can sell for around 15,500
Not sure what to do. Wife would also like to ride, (no license yet). so i was also trying to take into consideration that if she enjoys it, Then she could take my bike in a couple of years and i could get a new one. any advice would be appreciated.
If it was me, I would go for the Low Rider. Hey what would you expect a Dyna owner to say? I like the stance of the Deuce, but can't stand the rear fender. Plus the 07 LR will have a 96CI, & 6 speed motor. Pretty good improvements over an 05 Deuce. You didn't say what the dealer wanted for the Low Rider so I can't tell you if going for the LR there is a good deal or not.
get the deuce!!! lol.... i had to say that................but if your going to give it to your wife in a few years, either will work just fine. my wife can ride mine with no trouble since i lowered the back a little......
Make sure you feel comfortable with those forward controls on the Duece, especially if you have a passenger on board. I would go for the LR. Bigger engine and 6 speed is all the reason I need.
i think the LR has forwards too....doesn't it?? what about an 07 deuce??? i have heard rumors that they might discontinue the deuce.....makes me love mine all the more....
