Recommend this rain suit from Harley. Works great and the price is fair.

Men's Packable Rain Suit

Waterproof nylon with full mesh lining helps keep light rain from ruining a good ride. Zipper front with storm flap and removable helmet-friendly hood. Features adjustable elastic cuffs and two welded, waterproof hand-warmer pockets. Large 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material piping and panel cross the back. Reflective back graphic. Pants feature elastic waist, stirrups, and articulated knees. Heat-resistant shields on inner leg. Adjustable leg openings with gussets to fit boots. Reflective piping down legs. Includes storage bag.

98028-09VM

MSRP US $139.00 - US $159.00 per size and/or color

Also, pick up a pair of the Harley gators for your boots.

Have a great ride.

No. Not lined at all. Which is the way I like it.

But that's just me. Everybody's different. Lining gets wet and starts to smell, it wears, it comes loose, it's too hot in moderate weather and (IMHO) dosn't keep your hands that much warmer. If at all.

In fact, they have almost the same glove, lined, for less money.

Go figure.

That's what I bought, and although I've only used it once, it fits well, is comfortable, packs well, and I'm real happy with it.
And thanks for the link to the gloves, grendel. I just ordered a pair of those.

I bought a Yellow Icon PDX rain jacket recently (off eBay for $50).

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...in-Jacket.aspx

I have a Scorpion Hat Trick jacket which has a rain liner in it.....and it's awesome, but the back isn't long enough for my ape handlebars (raised arms pull the jacket up). So I got a longer jacket to go under it. Keep that in mind.

This rain suit works excellent. It's the HD Overpass II and I've used it several times...... dry as a bone. Cheap suit = wet and miserable -- don't skimp!

Agreed. The HD rain suits are worth the money & fold up nice and small.

That's not true. My GF rode about 300 miles in rain wearing the following :

http://www.leatherup.com/p/Motorcycl...uit/94669.html

She was as dry as dry can be. It's 1/3 to 1/4 the price of the Harley Davidson suits and it is by far the same if not better quality. I seriously don't recommend you buy HD's overpriced stuff when there's tons of cheaper and better alternatives available.

I have that rain gear, and would recommend it. Have ridden in some pretty heavy rain, and it kept me dry.

I'd stay away from the Frogg Toggs. I seen a pair fail on a buddy with just one usage. Better for hunting than serious riding. Just too flimsy. Personally I've been using the same pair of rain gear from Tour Master for over 10 years. And it's seen more than just a little around town use too. Like one poster said, I've found boot gaiters are a good thing to have along with the rain gear if you plan on traveling rain or shine.

Well if he wants to wear a pink rain suit...... by all means....

Normally I'd agree with your last statement, but with rain suits I've found after trying a few out that the HD Overpass II is the best quality suit I'd come across. It's rare but HD does sell a good product once in awhile.
