Windshield question
I have a '02 FXDL and a quick release Super Sport Windshield that came with the bike. The problem is that I'm getting a bunch of buffeting in the face while riding at highway speed. The top of the Super Sport measures 18” above the headlight. According to the recommendations for windshield sizing, I should have one where I can just see over the top. I'm looking a good 6" over the top. That would mean that I need one with the top about 24” above the headlight. I’ve had other bikes with windshields at that height (24”) and have had no buffeting issues. Any ideas?
