I ride to work everyday. It's the only thing that gets me up in the morning. I changed jobs 4 years ago and showed up my first day on the job on my bike. I got some strange looks from everyone except the guy who hired me. And thats only because I showed up to my interview on it too. My truck was down at the time. I have to add that I work with some of the best people I have ever worked with in my life.

I ride to work whenever the weather's decent. Didn't ride for the 23 yrs I was married, I'm making up for lost time. Won't make that mistake again.

As for what the people at work think, screw'em if they don't understand.

Work? What's that? I'm a part of the general public that wants to work but there's not a job for me to go to. But when I am working, my bike is my primary means of transport. Cheaper parking, splitting lanes, shorter commute and the simple fact that I'm getting wind in the face time. Also a GREAT means of therapy!

i ride to work when its not raining or snowing, even sneak in a ride from time to time at lunch with a couple co-workers. it does make going to work easier, knowing i get to ride. although, waiting to get out of work to ride again makes some days drag on.

I ride to work everyday that it's not raining. I get a few looks from the people in other companies located in the same campus, but 1 of the guys I work with also rides. I think I get more looks of jealousy than anything else.

I started riding to work 3 months ago. I don't get starnge looks...I get looks. Seriously, people who hardly said "boo" to me now act as if we are best friends.

And the gals really notice

My commute is 25 miles door to door. I ride unless its raining in the morning and in FL that is seldom, it usually rains later in the day. I can't remember the last time I took my truck to work. I think it was when I bought it so I could show the guys. I have a rolling tool bag that goes on my luggage rack that carries everything I need for a 24hr shift. I use saddlebags if I need to take anything else.

I ride nearly every day. Snow, maybe; ice, never; rain, who cares - I'm riding!

You might want to give your "main squeze" a bit more time than 1200 miles a year or you might well end up in divorce court.

I ride mine every day only time i drive a car is if someones going with me.
