I just installed the ebay 7" light, I took the plug apart and pulled out the grommet then reassembled the plug through new housing pushed in grommet. I did have to clip the grounding wires between the back of lens and the can, the stock light had no grounding so I assume the ground is not needed with the stock plug being used. Used the sylvania silverstar bulb, it is hot when ya shine it at your face. I used a 1 1/2 inch extension chorme mounting block extension from headwinds. Now I will have to crome the trees.

I have the HD LED HL and Aux lamps coming for my Ultra I will remove the stock lens and and install it in the ebay housing with teh Silverstar. Next up is the HD fog lights.

 

Anyone got a picture with a 7" headlight on a dyna? Most people seem to replace the stock with a 5"er. Im thinking of going with a bigger headlight. Cheers.

 

This is actually a 6 3/4" that I got out of the JP Cycles catalog pretty cheap. I like it. Adds a lot to the appearence IMO, and gives a much better beam for night riding than the stock.
And I like seeing the clouds in my headlight when I ride.

I have the same bike, only a 2009. Does your windshield still fit with the Cobra II? How much clearance do you have between the bike frame and the back of the light? Also, was the light mount they sent a good fit or did you have to do any mods? I'm about to order the same headlamp.

I have a 93 dyna wide glide and i'm redoing my turn signals to the bullet style
I wanted to get a headlamp with the similar to my turn signals but in the 2011 catalogue the lamp is only compatible on the 94-present
has anyone come across this problem? will the lamp fit? is there a easy modification i can do to make it fit??
