ouch! i hate road rash on the hands!!! hate it, i wear fingerless gloves and every one of my buddies has a smart *** comment... till they go down, then they rock gloves... man sucks about the bike but fk it, you are ok that is what counts! heal fast!

Glad you're ok and hope you have a speedy recovery. My brother was in an accident on his '08 SB about a month ago and his bike didn't look half as bad as yours and the insurance company called it a total.

He was sore for a few days but fine otherwise. Insurance gave him enough to buy an '07 FXDL and leave him with a few grand in his pocekt, so it turned out pretty well for him.

Man, so sorry to hear about a brother going down. Heal up quickly and take care of yourself. Bikes can be replaced, you only have one head and body. Best of luck for a speedy recovery and a new HOG.
