Lately, I've found myslef remarking "Well I'm still alive" after every long ride.
Seems like I'm the onyl one I see wearing even a half lid around here.....now, I don't feel so bad.
Hopes for speedy recovery. Will you ride again, or are you done? If so, and they total the bike, what's next...a bagger?

Here's the pics of the gear that took a beating; helmet, Lil Joe's vest, and my gun and holster. I've already got the itch for a new one. I've been at the dealerships at least twice a week. Honestly, I'm probably going to go back to a Street Bob. No other bike does it for me. I'm bummed I have to start over from scratch with mods, though. I had that bike exactly how I liked it! Thanks again guys for the wishes of recovery.

You taught me alot with this thread: the full face, gloves, and boots may get some looks but they might save you at speed!
Good luck with your recovery. Any down time is just more time to look at the Harley website and dream....
