Question Windshield glare

I have a 2010 Superglide with what I believe is a medium detachable windshield. The glare on the windshield is like having TV in my face. I see no adjustments on either the headlight or windshield. Will a visor help with glare.or is there any other options.

Default glare?

Your description is very poor, but I will assume you mean back-scatter from the headlight caused by the w/s being forward of it. On mine I made a temporary shield from black nylon webbing and aluminum flashing tape as a quick-fix; worked like a charm. Although this has lasted very well for 11 days of road trips, I plan to replace it w/ something more permanent. Looking for a vinyl extrusion to attach to the w/s headlight cutout. Another approach would be to install a headlight visor.

Also I have applied a small piece of tape to the inside rim of each front turn signal lens so I am not blinded by them as well.

Thank you all; I guess I'll start with the visor, and if that doesn't work will have to start experimenting.

Thumbs up

Well I turned the directionals out a little and put some black tape over the inner part of them. I went to the dealer and bought a new headlight rim. [ The old was 3/4" ] The new rim is 1 3/4" looks good and pretty much took care of the headlight glare on the windshield. Thanks all for your input.
