I'm pretty happy with the look, i kinda like the cut back look, and it will also will keep the bugs and such from getting all jammed in the air filter.

didnt think about someone taking offense to the SE insert--used it mainly because i thought it worked with color scheme and didnt want the AC all black. however, it is a SE stage 1 air cleaner kit, and i also have the SE Pro Super Tuner...

i appreciate your comments,

Looks GR8 - nice fab w/the cover. Really flows well & I wear a SE bandanna, but don't have one SE part on my bike. Doesn't matter...;-)

That's why i choose mine for the color scheme , i also have the SE stage 1 air cleaner kit set up but replaced the filter 2 weeks ago with a K&N filter i also have the SE manifold along the SE Pro Super Tuner... the bike doesn't have be a SE just to wear the logo's it all part of supporting Harley Davidson and their racing team , i also have a jacket too !!

looks real good. i have been trying to think of what to do to get a black a/c cover. i like that. may have to modify your idea to fit my bike.
