I bet you could get a whole system from Toyota on the cheap.

1500$ that's indeed a lot just to get rid of a couple of cables !

I'd say upwards of $2000. the intake alone retails for about $1000.

I wouldn't even bother.
I have seen those FAIL lately with staggeringly alarming regularity.
try 5 systems in a month. All brands new bikes.

The lag in the system sucks.

Also on a touring bike the whole wiring harness lays in a plastic trough under the tank and not through the frame like on a dyna.

save your money and build a big motor.

Custom Cycle Controls make some nice internally wired and cabled bars. They look great but not cheap

I have heard of few guys that had internal throttle cable setups as well as clutch setups and they said they were sticky and didnt like them.

it sounds cool in theory but I don't like internally running things.
if something breaks or a wire shorts you're pretty screwed.
how would it work if you had z bars? how would you get a throttle cable around those corners?

I could have internally wired my fxd but chose not to.

When I ran my wires internally I used the black mesh expandable tubing so there would not be any issues with wires shorting out. At least not because of chaffing on the steel bars.

It looks indeed a bit complicated, so I’ll maybe go with a 1 cable throttle, my idea was to go with a fly-by-wire throttle and a internal “throttle like” clutch (yes it exists)
