Fly By Wire. I don't know of anyone that has done it but I bet it consists of changing the ECM, throttle body, wiring harness and possibly the handlebars.
Fly By Wire. Never seen it on a Dyna. Most of us are minimalists and cables have worked for 100 plus years. Still, it would be different as well as pretty cool.
if the fbw is anything like the ford system you will most likely have to change the right side controls due to the tps sensor. the throttle body will definately need replaced and maybe the intake too. the pcm needs to be able to read the tps sensor and command the throttle open and closed so i dont think it would be an easy swap.
Thanks guys, The shape of my ape makes it impossible to use an internal throttle, (will post a pic of my bike once I’m home) that’s why I was thinking about that FBW system, a one cable set-up would indeed be better than 2, but none is wayyy better !
