Newest Mod (Riser Extensions)
I initially bought these so as to increase the clearance between the top of the fork tubes and the bottom of the handlebars for when I change by bars to a bigger diameter.
Since I have an '09 FXDB with those damned integrated risers, changing the risers would have required changing the triple trees but another forum member referred me to check out Loner Industries and I am glad I did..
After getting them, I thought I would just throw them on to see what they look like with the stock bars and I am kinda pleased with not only the look, but the feel of the bars being a bit higher. Amazingly 1 inch makes a bigger difference than I thought in terms of putting my hands where I want them to be on the bars. Great product, surprised that (a far as I can find) only one company makes it. I think I may just leave my bars this way for a while, and may possibly consider going up to 2". IMO, looks even better than most risers, as simply extensions, they have a more substantial look as opposed to that hourglass look of regular risers..

They make 2" riser extensions as well as higher ones as a custom item..
