Springer? On a Dyna? Yikes. Heavy, clunky, seriously obsolete. Doesn't look right unless it's a rigid with a sprung seat anyway. Big headlight, big fender, big tire.
I can think of a lot better uses for the money.
But, if it's all about a "look", then have at it. Bet you'll have some takers for your stock front end, which will offset some of the cost.

Guess that's your opinion, but have you checked out Man4Mopar's bike? I drool over that thing every time I look at it.
scottyd, Good point about the rake/trail. The stock WG forks are 31 1/2" long, the Paughco 6-over is 33" long. But, the WG trees have 3* of rake in them, so a 6-over springer w/ no rake will definitely raise the bike. The 3-over is probably the better choice. Dynamic, Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I happen to think bikerlaw's bike looks great. And if a springer is so 'heavy, clunky, and obsolete', why does the MoCo still offer it? bikerlaw, Beautiful bike! However, at $2500, putting a springer on mine is not in the cards right now. Thanks for posting additional pics!

Glad you checked into it.
I honestly think springers look best on the Dynas and for this reason, the mechanical look...Soft tails hide their rear suspension Dynas don't the springer looks great in conjunction with the rear shocks and springs of a Dyna.
