What's up everybody? I am curently deployed in asscrackistan but this trip is almost over and I am have been buying parts to play with for when I get home. One of those parts is a PCV that I bought off of a fellow forum memeber. Does anybody know of a place that will make a custom map without having to buy the PCV from them? In my other hobby, mustangs, this is a fairly common practice. Bama, Brenspeed and a few other places will build a custom tune acording to how you have your car set up usually at a cost of around $50. Is there anybody out there who does that for HD bikes?
just did a check on the power commander web site and there are alot of deelers/tuners in and around Oklahoma City. I dont know how far you are from there but once you get back home look on there web site and make some calls and you should be able to find someone to tune the bike for ya
ratt196635, thanks for the advice. I was looking for a place that makes custom maps and emails them to you. Perhaps this isn't an option with bikes? Mustang places do it all of the time and the custom maps are pretty close to dyno tuned results.
well the only place that i know that does that is fuelmoto and they only do that if you buy from them. Anyway you get a better tune if you let the tuner do it i have a map from fuelmoto but still need to take it and have it tuned. You can always get a canned map from power commander web site that is close to you set up. Sometimes thats all some folks need

Technically a custom map would be done with your bike on a dyno with the PC on your bike. There is a variance between bikes with the same modifications.
I would go on the Dynojet site and look for a map. You may find one for the mods you have or at least one very close that you can download.
Good luck and thanks for your service.
I bought the PCV for my 2011 FLTRX from an on-line store out of state. I called DJ and they gave me the # of a local dealer that will make a map custom for my bike on their dyno. I called them and only $100 for a custom map made on their in house dyno. Maybe you should call DJ to find your local PCV dealer.
If the person you bought the PCV from also bought it from Fuel Moto, they will give you a free downloaded map, providing you have the sales receipt #, which the seller should, in that case, have. I am offering this right now for the buyer of my PCV, presently listed in these HD Forums classified, Touring section.

It looks like we have the same hobbies.
I just got my cams changed and some head work done. I sent Dynojet an email and told them about it and that I couldn't find a map for the mods and a few hours later they sent me a map based on the new mods and the map that I was using before at no charge.
By the way I have the preditor for my stang. I got it from Bama and have several of Dougs tunes. They kick a$$.
Good luck and get back safe.
