PCV programming question
Thanks for all of the inputs. The tech from DJ gave told me the # of one of their maps that would be a good place to start. My bike doesn't have much done to it and the map they provided looks like it will probably be fine as is. I was just hoping that someone would build maps for bikes like they do for cars.
The only way to get an completely accurate map for your bike, with your specific mods is on the dyno. I've read where folks have said it takes up to 50 pulls to do this, but the Dynojet tech who operates and installed my PCV made only 5 pulls to redline, along with several intermediate runs, to determine the optium map for my bike. The total cost for the PCV, the install, the mapping on the dyno was $500. which I thought was very reasonable. Something you might want to look into in the future.
