My Buddy is comming down this weekend to change oil in his bike. Which got me thinking about a bike lift. He has a craftsman lift but with the lift adapters on, we have to run our Bikes on some 2x4's to get the clearance we need to get on the lift. I was wondering if any of you guys with Wide Glides have found a lift that will slide under with no problems???
I got a sweet jack lift from J&S jacks www.jsjacks.com
handmade by a couple of brothers up in wisconsin
easy ... slide it under pump it with your foot no adaptors,
straps or anything works great money well spent
now they are 300 bucks and there are alot of frugal ,cheap,
tight asses, make an eagle scream on a dollar, cobwebed walleted bikers dudes on this forum that say its too much money
but I have found the lift to be helpful in cleaning as well as maintence
and use it more than I thought...

stick, what's the height of the JS at lowest??
My yellow Sears is 3 and a half inches.
I want the JS, even though the sears works fine,
there is too much extra work - adapters, straps, etc.
How does the JS support the machine level w/o the adapters??
What's the low clearance on the red sears, if anyone has this jack??
I just bought the JS bike lift. It cost 328.00 shipped. I had the sears one junk. I have a 2003 dyna lowrider. It just slided under no adapters. I jacked it up and moved it around my driveway, with NO straps, it did not even vibrate. It is worth the money.
I have purchased a ATV/Motorcycle jack from a company called Northern Hydraulics. I don't have to put any adapters on it to lift the bike. My brother has a LowRider and the jack fits under it.

mud
4 inches at lowest ... base is 17"x16" at a slight angle when down as bikes comes up it levels off
I jacked mine all the way up and then got on the bike to see if it would move and it did not
I have 2006 Wide Glide and the sears motorcycle jack. I have used the jack without any adapters and it works just fine. I looked closely and there did not seem to be any problems with interferences or clearances. However, I do need to sit on the bike and hold it upright while my wife rolls the jack under the bike.
I have a '06 SG, used to have a '97 WG. I lowered the new SG almost an inch. I've been using a Dunwell jack for many years without having to use any kind of ramps. Distance off the floor is 4".
