Default vinyl wrap?

ive seen rice rockets,boats ,cars ,buses.....yall ever done a harley or seen one...my fxdx has a rare color ..(real red) dont want repaint im thinking of having it wrapped .....zebra pattern ...what ya think? engine /trim are wrinkle black...had my thunderstars powdercoated black also

I think Joe Namath already did it! But seriously, I actually asked a couple people who had it done what they paid and it was a pissload of money, and this was years ago. Like $1,800 if I remember correctly. Might have come down considerably with todays economy but I remember that it really wasn't very shiny. Allot of guys on this forum have done shinier paint jobs with krylon spray bombs. I would want to see some of the particular guys work up close before I dropped the cash.

damn ,havent thought of or seen that icon of grade b movie makin in years ..thanx ..have to get a dvd now..watched easy rider the other day ...is it 157 or 158 times now? neh...neh..... neh... indians !

Those wraps arn't glossy because they are done with a vinyl called "easy apply" vinyl, It's got small hexagons in the adhesive that allow it to conform to curves & folds in cars & boats, I doubt that it would conform to the complex curves on a tank...believe me i've thought about doing it, & as well it needs post heating to 90 degrees to soften the adhesive enough to loose its "memory" & settle to it's new shape.

This thread makes me think of the locals who have their chevy caprice's wrapped with candy logos. The drivers of these cars are not Caucasian.

If I can snap a pic of them the next time I see them, I will.
