Default I think I found a seat

When I had my 2004 XL1200r I tried a Mustang, a Corbin and finally settled on a LePera Sanora. Needless to say I am verey picky when it comes to a seat for my ride.

I decided to get a new seat for my 2005 FXDI since the OEM had about 20,000 miles on it and was starting to feel a little worn.

I ordered a Mustang Wide Vintage Solo and Passenger pad but there was just something about the seat I didn't like. I didn't like the way it seem to move me forward or the way it seem to slant backwards. I guess I must be one of the few people out there that does not care for the feel of the Mustang seat. WHile it is a very well made seat and a real bargain it just did not feel right for me.

I sent the Mustang back and ordered a Corbin Dual Tour. The seat came today and boy is it ever HARD! However I took the bike for a ride and the seat really holds me in place and actually feels pretty good.

I think once the seat gets a few thousand miles on it it will be PERFECT! I also like the real leather. The only thing I don't like about the Corbin is the method they use to cover up the mounting hole for the back rest. It ruins the line and look of the seat however I did not buy this seat for looks. I bought it for comfort.

The Corbin Dual tour gets two thumbs up from me.

Is that the Corbin seat on the bike pictured in your post?
Our bikes are very simular. I am looking at a LePera seat
for mine. Since the wife started riding with me the stock seat
doesn't cut it for her. A lot of opinions out there about seats,
exhaust, etc. I have mostly heard good things about the
Corbin seats but they take a little to break in but when they
do break in they are top notch.

The Avatar was with the OEM seat.

I just went out and took a picture of my bike with the Corbin Dual Tour and changed my Avatar.

The Corbin will soften up in about 500 to 1,000 miles
