Only mod done so far is the addition of a HD Oil cooler. It was highly recommended by my indy mech. It was installed at the 1000 mile service last June, just before the summer heat. Speedo is ok with me. I can see it where it is and know my speed. My first street bike and enjoy it very much.
I'm with you on the speedo. I haven't done anything with it yet, just working on other priorities. I like it where it is, it just needs a tach next to it, or an all-in-one like the Dakota Digital. It just looks ugly.
Berck ... your bike is lookin' awesome ... all that gleaming chrome and the smooth rear fender is slick ....

Those are the stock wheels you had chrome plated ...?

The wheels are the new ones from Harley that come chrome. By the time I bought these and sold my stock wheels it was cheaper this way than having the stock ones chromed. Plus since these came chrome they are smooth all over and dont have the rough parts on the inside on the spokes like the stock ones did.
here's mine, 2007 fxd I have been working at it for a little over a year now.
