Road King is not a Softail and, thus, does not have Softail suspension.

As far as I know, Dynas can use the air suspension that is used on touring (such as Road King) models.

ummmm; you could use the roadking shocks on a dyna but you cannot use softail shocks - totally different animals. Not sure what you are asking.......

The touring shocks on a dyna question has been asked a few times on here. Do a search, read the info, and make your own decision but the consensus (if there ever is such a thing on this forum) seems to be that the ride is too stiff.

I put then on and I dont think they are too stiff at all - at the moment I have 20lbs (for 2up) and even riding solo its not a bad ride at all so I mostly just leave the pressure set for 2up. FYI - get the newer 09 version, I got new take offs (54565-09) on ebay for just $71. These are the non lowering ones (which is why they are cheap) and I'm pretty happy with mine - stock shocks sucked.

They bolt right on BTW
