Just spray it on all the black parts as well as your chrome. Let it it sit while you get the hose and bucket ready. Then wash your bike as normal. The black will look brand new.
Just be careful if you use it on your wheels. Do NOT get any on your brake pads because it is slicker than snot and will take a few miles before it burns off.
Good question. I have some polish that dripped onto the engine and I cant shift it at all.
I keep a bottle of Dupli-Color BLACK Wax around for my car. I hate black vehicles. Most beautiful color in the world when they're clean. You can spend all day cleaning one, waxing it, sealing it, whatever. Go inside for a beer and when you come back out, the sumbeach is dirty again.
Black also shows every little mind-numbing mistake you ever made. Anyway, I got some blue loctite on my wrinkle coat the other day (don't ask) so I just put some of that Black Dupli Color Wax on, waited for it to dry and knocked the excess off with a brand new, never used paint brush.
Just a thought.
On second thought, I think it's Turtle Wax Color Magic. But it's black.
Whatever.

WD-40, and for the parts that you accidentally get the chrome bright on....dip your finger in some clean motor oil and let it sit in....then wipe it around. It'll darken it back up.
