Lookin at puttin some apes or some drag bars on my 2010 super glide.....any suggestions on what would look better? Also thought bout just putting some 6inch risers on and keeping the stock bars?
I put a set on with lower rise and 5" pull back. way better hand position and a much more forward riding position. I don't know what model the bars came off of but I used the stock risers. The bars are 28" wide, 3" rise and 5" pull back. you can see them in my sig pic
dude why don`t you just do what you want and is most comfy why ask us how the heck do we know what your taste is hold a few different ones up and see what feels good, man common sence
Superglide, I am on my 3rd set of bars, and there still not what i'm looking for.
I have had Lowrider stock bars, Street Slammers, 10" T Bars, and now back to the stock bars. I have a set of Nighttrain risers that i will try with Nighttrain bars.
It's all about what You want from a bar. I love the T bar look, but have yet to find one that I like the how they Feel. I will Probably try some west coat t bars eventually, they have less pullback. I am thinking I might go with Kodlin Bonanza bars sometime also, After the Nightrain bars.
I ride my bike every day, it is my transportation, so I want my bars to look and feel how I want them. ( picky I guess ) The problem I have noticed is the cost can get high if you let it.
So I guess my point is, it can be a trial and error process.
