New gas tank
I'm startin to get ready for my winter-time custom paint on the '10 WG. Ordered my new front fender.......now I want a gas tank, because I'm keeping the stock one as it is and just putting it to the side.
Which other Dyna tanks are the same as the one I have? Street Bob, Super Glide? What years?

I asked a similar question about fitment a couple of days ago and rec'd the following as a portion of the response.
The Dynas have used 3 tanks from 2004 to 2010.
Tank 1 = FXD, FXDX, FXDC, ‘07 FXDSE
Tank 2 = FXDB, FXDL, ‘08 FXDSE, '10 FXDWG
Tank 3 = FXDWG to '08, ‘06 FXDI35, ‘07+ FXDC, ‘08+ FXDF, '09+ FXDFSE
so, it looks like you have tank #2 - so you should be able to use a street bob or low rider tank from any 2004-2010 model.

I am having a freind of mine make me one out of a Jesse James blank for the front end. Something that hugs the tire all the way around, and leaving it black.
I have something else entirely planned for the gas tank, but not in a hurry for it. OVer the next couple months I'll let my painter play with it on the side. He already knows what I want.......leaving the rear fender stock.
