Thats very intersting on the twisting I just used the factory bushings since my bike is just a few months old and have no steering issues myself. The handle bar does have a different feel mainly that the handle bars are higher and more back so I am not reaching forward anymore that took a short ride to re adjust. What all does a poly bushing do vs a the factory stock rubber bushings? Anyway he is a pic sorry it's not the best just a cell phone quick pic.
Centerline your bike is sic. I love the speedo/tach, but I'm too cheap so I ordered the digital one instead. Gonna get those flush mount gas caps too. Looks like your ready for a new set of pegs.
My sig and gallery have a few photos of the 6 inch HD pull backs I installed a few months ago. I did not have any squirrelly issues but the optical illusion of the handle bar being off center is more pronounced. Initially I developed wrist pain due to the angle, but I found using a non reach seat (mustang tripper solo) appears to have fixed that issue. The cables just fit, as well as the turn signal/tank clearance for stock height. If you want the bars turned a bit lower, you may need to move the turn signals. If you have a tach mounted on the riser bolts, the tach angle will be different (either more upright or laid back depending on how you installed the bracket. You may want to use a straight tach mounting bracket in lieu of the curved/bent one.

So it seems to be hit or miss if installing the 6" pull backs with the stock rubber bushings result in squirrelly bars. Maybe some of the rubber bushings are softer than others, just a variant in the QC of manufacturing.
The poly bushings are stiffer than the rubber bushings so they just don't let the bars flex as much as the rubbers (heheh I just said rubbers....LOL).
Glad everyone seems as happy with their new risers as I am!
That's interesting to hear. I'm thinking about the 4" pullback risers on mine and I don't know squat about them, who to buy from, pitfalls (if any) to look out for, style, etc.
4" pullbacks may not work on yours, dash height is a concern. Do some measuring first. With that dash you may not be able to turn the bars lock to lock without hitting the dash. You can see how close the 6" are in the pics the Centerline posted.
