the flexing of the bars is a strange issue, if they didnt flex befor and all we did was change the pull backs and everything else was the same why now???

Torque and length. Did you use the same bushings or different? If the same they may have been compressed beyond original specs and not able to fill the need so to speak.
If you torqued to man. spec, I have found that is not enough when you go higher, add about 10-15 lbs of torque.
A couple inches higher will make a big difference as you still have the same footprint at the mounting point. You have more leverage now.

Sometimes the treaded recess is different on the new risers, and they will not tighten all the way like the originals (they bottom our before getting tight). I have found that sometimes I have needed to replace the riser bolt to a 1/4" shorter bolt in oder to tighten without the bolt bottoming out.

Just a thought.

Default P/N number

I believe the p/n is 56267-09 for the HD 6" pull back risers. Hope that helps. Also I have my stock ones for sale if anyone is interested. I posted on E-bay and they did not sell. A few days before a used pair sold for $58.50, they are $129.95 new (55996-09)

Thanks

I also added the chrome 6" pull back risers along with 2" Jim's spacers & Jackyl 2" tank lift. My opinion much better on reach/comfort & better look.

Any problems with the stock cables or brake line?

No problem with either, only took 45 min to install but an extra pair of hands would make it easier.
