last few miles..

last few miles..
got home from riding today, the trip odo read 292.3
pulled it back out of the shed, rode past three gas stations to one about 5 miles down the road, topped off, rode back home and now it read 303.4...just had to hit 300
anyone else do this?
take it back out for those last 4, 5, or 10 miles to make a nice even number for the day?

not sure what you are referring to... driving 300 miles in a day? I rode 1000 miles in 24 hours about 4 weeks ago... 900 without stopping and the last 100 the following morning to get the 1000 in 24 hours. Then Friday I rode 300+ miles to my brothers house and going to ride 300+ miles back home tomorrow.

I rode 1000 miles in 24 hours about 4 weeks ago... 900 without stopping and the last 100 the following morning to get the 1000 in 24 hours. Then Friday I rode 300+ miles to my brothers house and going to ride 300+ miles back home tomorrow.
i'm saying, if you get home and check your mileage and realize you've ridden 292 miles or 488 miles, or 1196 miles, do you go back out and get the last few to make a nice, even, round number?

Did the same thing myself yesterday, got home and the trip said 232. Decided to go back out to fill up and push it to 240, lol!
