Be sure to strap it down, they can blow away pretty easily.

I'm going to build a floor out of wood, plant some 4x4s with concrete, lag bolt the floor to the post and screw the building down to the floor. My concern is will it cause rusting or anything stupid like that?

Thanks mud!! Donnie

if your going to go threw all the hassel to build the floor out of wood.why dont you just build the shed to out of wood.should cost about the same for the supplies and materials, maybe less.and then you will have a good shed.and you can instalate it to with drywall and instalation.thier easy to make.just go to home depot or lowes and get a book on it.and then you dont have to worrry about it blowing away.and the metal shed will draw moisture.if you do go with the metal shed.then wrap your bike tight.

Donnie, screwing the building down to the floor will not keep it from blowing away.

Those things are flimsy and a medium gust can send it airborne.

Especially if the door is open.

Check the website where you got the picture,
bet they have straps available as accessories.

The straps go over the entire assembly, and stake into the ground.

I know they will blow away, can't comment on moisture issues.

Mud, Concrete some 4x4s 2 feet into the grown and lag bolt the floor to the 4x4s then screw the complete building down to the floor and I guarantee it wont go anywheres! Of course unless there's like some 60 mph winds... Anyways thanks for the concern Mud!! Donnie

I think I'm going to just go with all wood.... Don't wanna have to cover the bike anymore ( pain in the azz ) and I don't want any rust problems! to much chrome for that poo!!!

Mud is right about the wind, but how about the snow. A heavy snow may find you pulling apart medal trying to find your bike. If you are able think about a wooden shed with a slant roof and wooden floor. Also, I would locate the shed close enough to an electrical outlet to enable you to charge the batt.( extension cord)
missed your last post. good idea.

I keep my bike in the garage here at the house and I don't have any moisture issues, however, being that the building is totally away from any climate controlled area, there could be problems. If you keep it out there, I would still look into one of the covers that breathe and keep the moisture out.

metal will draw moisture. Wood building is better and the cover is a good suggestion.
