Yes, 4.5" wide.
For stock specs, I always use www.totalmotorcycle.com, then search on the year and model of the bike in question.

Hahaha!! I dunno there champ...I made a few SB's look awful silly at stoplights. It's great to see the disappointment on their faces when they realize I have a jockey shift setup at the next light. LOL Now, Sportsters on the other hand...those nimble little fuggers...
