Need some help please...
I have a new 2005 low rider...and I bought the auxilliary front light kit. The instructions are cryptic and refer to a B+ connector under the seat to which a wire connector attaches. I have looked all over and I can't find said connector. I am wondering if anyone else has hooked up these lights and can give some advice.
thanks
I had the same instructions with my kit and never found the connector. I just wired them into the fuse block. Call your local Harley service guy and see what he suggests.
I thought about getting the auxiliary lights for my Super Glide Custom, but I was concerned that they would look 'off' somewhat because the front fork is more narrow than some of the other HD's that have the lights stock. Do they look good? I would like to reconsider them depending on your feedback. I have never seen a Dyna with them in person, so please give me the scoop. Thanks.
Here's a picture with my auxiliary lights. I love the look!

It's in there . It's under the seat area with all the other wires ,look for a white wire with a grey connector that has a cap on it . It's down about 4 -6 inches below the seat ,the cap on mine was attached to something like a support bracket or something ,it's near the fuse block. I had a hell of a time trying to find mine ,I finally had to remove the whole fuse block to see were the hell it was .

If you're still looking for auxillary lights I have a set for sale ,needs one bulb . let me know if you're intersted, they're listed in the classified section, under aux lights ,and detachable windshield.
I talked to HD today about ordering an auxillary Lighting kit (#68605-08, adds 1 light on each side of my single light) $289.00, for my 07 Dyna Low rider (FXDL). I currently have a detachable windshield ( #57015-06), with a single light.
The HD parts guy suggested I check for shops to cut the current windshield to allow for the 2 additional Aux. lights.
The problem is, I can't tell if cutting the windshield will work, because of the clamps that hold it on. By the picture in the '09 HD accessory book (pg 131), it looks like the clamps will prevent the cut, because it appears the bottom clamp is where the cut is needed.
Have you, or anyone ever done this Aux Lighting add with windshield #57015-06?
Holy hell... That's your first post? You did a search and pulled up a thread from 4+ years ago.
Welcome to HDF and as far as your questions goes - I have no effin' clue...
Would this work? http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go...ID/86/IMID/100
Reason I bring this up - I have them. They are really bright and my brother refuses to ride in front of me at night. He said it's bad enough in the day and easy to spot me in his mirror.
Not what you asked, just throwing another option out there.
