engine light
quick question,ya,ll -hurt my back in june so i havent been riding much but got out for a while today and noticed engine light is coming on for a couple secs after i start it.i dont recall if it always did that.is this normal?btw its runnin good,,only thing i have noticed is when i come to a stop sometimes the idle is real low

Based on your scenario, pull the codes and see if B1006 and/or B1007 (B0563 will usually tag along) are thrown. If so, unplug the stator from the regulator and grab an ohmmeter. Test resistance between the three terminals on the stator. should be around 5 ohms, give or take. Then check resistance from each terminal to ground. Should be infinity. I suspect youre going to see low resistance when you do this test.

hey guys got it figured out i think,ive got xieds in line with the o2 sensors-apparently those codes are normal with this setup,still doesnt explain the occasional low idle though.anyway,if it aint broke dont fix it right!?
